Corporate Design (CD) and Corporate Identity (CI) are two unseparately linked elements which form the image and value of a company and convey them both to the inside as well to the targeted outside. A corporate image increases the trust in a company. Increased competition, fast-paced development, globalisation and replaceability of products make it indispensable for companies to have a strong CI. A distinctive and positive image reflects the company’s personality and represents a decisive advantage. The visual perception is one of man’s most important sensuous approach and therefore the corporate design of products is of utmost significance when it comes to manifest the overall concept of a company.

A uniformly identifiable and contemporary appearance guarantees the strengthening of image and competitiveness. Modernity and continuity - two basically opposed factors – hereby need to be brought in line.
CD manuals are an excellent base for the formulation and continuation of an up-to-date design language and its authenticity in product designing.
